Cannes La Suquet & La Croisette Family Day Out

Icecream and sandy feet

5.00 / 5

Climb to the top of Le Suquet to get beautiful views over Cannes and the picturesque houses of the old town, the old port, the modern city and the long sandy beach of La Croisette.

Famous for its climbing and winding cobbled streets filled with little local restaurants great for a stop. Great fun to stroll around with kids and they will love having their photo taken at the top.

Return down the hill and walk along La Croisette. Grab an ice cream or crepes from one of the kiosks and some get sandy feet along the way. Right at the end of La Croisette is a great little Play park. Perfect day with the kids.

    Pros

Le Suquet, is the ancient district part of Cannes , a smart area, with lovely romantic streets, boutiques, shops, in the evening many romantic restaurants with many candellights; nice atmosphere; nice for a visit in the late afternoon when it is not to hot, while the litle streets leads to the mountain with a splendid view over Cannes, the harbour with the yachts; Suquet has also an old castle to visit, with a courtyard, an immense view, and a nice museum is located in the castle , with often nice exihibitions.
